We woke to a dusting of snow. Fielding was in tears because we hadn't purchased him a snow coat yet and he was dying to go play in it. I finally went and dug in the hand-me-down bins and found this beast of coat... and it took all of 2 minutes to remember that I hate snow clothes.

The zipping, the buttoning, the finding of little fingers lost in oversize gloves. the shoving of pants into boots, the wet socks, the mitten without a mate, the "clompyness" of it all... ugh - it is a full-time job.

I have a feeling that Fielding is gaining an unhealthy attachment to this jacket and I will be dealing with it until May. He demanded to wear the whole ensemble to preschool... and to the store... and to his friend's house.

But he's so happy!
Maybe we should invest in something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Mountain-Warehouse-Cloud-Padded-Snowsuit/dp/B00Z2RICEM/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1447804325&sr=8-4&keywords=snow+jumpsuit+for+kids
