We arrived in Cascade, ID just as Uncle David was making a bid for favorite uncle by passing out giant jawbreaker suckers.

The girls settled into a puzzle party.

And the boys ran around outside the condo. Perry found a truck to play with on a truck... he was set.

And Luna got passed from one cousin to the next... the little girl didn't touch the floor once in the three days we were there. I loved overhearing the fights that would break out over who got to hold her next.

Once enough families arrived, we decided it was time to head to the lake. This is the boat that I grew up with and it was good to see it packed with kids and back in the water.

We let the kids paddle around the dock for a bit until we went and found a nice sandy beach.

Then we got down to business.

I took all the kids on a boat ride and Paisley even got up on the kneeboard - I was impressed that she wanted to try!

There was enough water toys that even those back on shore got in on the fun.

Once we got cooled off enough and the thunderstorms started rolling in - we headed back to the cabin for dinner and to wait for the rest of the party to arrive. Around 10pm, we all crowded into one room and had a birthday/white elephant present party thanks to Kara. And finished the night with chocolate cake at midnight. Then we all attempted to get some sleep which was a bit of a joke with that many people in one house.
